Guyana – GUYSUCO said closed sugar cane estate to be used for rice production
The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GUYSUCO) says it has entered into a partnership with the Guyana Rice Development Board (GRDB) to plant seed paddy at Wales Estate as part of the GRDB’s efforts to develop new rice varieties for local farmers.
