USA – USA Rice Federation takes look at smuggled rice in Colombia

Source: Stuttgart Daily Leader14/04/2014 – Colombia is an important and growing rice market for the United States, but it is threatened by a brisk illegal trade in smuggled rice that is valued at close to $540 million annually according to the Director of Tariffs and Customs (DIAN).

Philippines – PH rice imports to hit 1.2M tons in 2014
