Philippines – Over a third of N. Samar rice fields found to be infested

Source: Business World14/12/2011 – An inventory conducted for the first time by the Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC) of the Department of Agriculture (DA) last month showed that 11,000 hectares (37%) of the 29,434 hectares total area planted with rice this year, have been infested.
