USA – Drier weather helping rice planting

Source: 2theadvocate.com06/04/2010 – Louisiana farmers started the 2010 rice-planting season with caution, worried that wet fields might require more planting in water this year. But fields dried out, temperatures have warmed and farmers are now able to drill-seeding much of their crop.
